Meet Maggie Bennett
M C Hearing is owned and managed by Maggie Bennett, a dedicated audiologist with three decades of experience in the field. Her journey began with 22 years of service within the NHS, where she honed her skills and developed a deep understanding of audiological complexities. Maggie is fully qualified as a Clinical Audiologist, Hearing Therapist, and Hearing Aid Dispenser. Her professional credentials include registration with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the Registration Council for Clinical Physiologists (RCCP). Additionally, Maggie is a proud member of prestigious audiology associations such as the British Academy of Audiology (BAA), British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists (BSHAA), Association of Independent Hearing Healthcare Professionals (AIHHP), and the British Tinnitus Association (BTA).
Throughout her career, Maggie has specialised in addressing the most advanced and intricate audiological cases. Her passion for helping individuals with Tinnitus and her expertise in gentle ear wax removal have led her to establish M C Hearing, where she provides private, high-quality, and personalised audiology services.

Maggie is joined by Kathy Mayhew, a experience audiologist with over 26 years of experience. Kathy embarked on her audiology journey at Torbay Hospital in 1997, and for the past four years, she has been delivering exceptional care in private practice. Maggie and Kathy’s partnership is founded on their prior work together within the NHS, ensuring a smooth and supportive working relationship.
Kathy has amassed a wealth of experience in all aspects of audiology, specialising in assessing and rehabilitating adults with complex needs. She is a registered audiologist with the RCCP and holds qualifications in wax removal with micro-suction.
