Meet Kathy Mayhew – Audiologist
Kathy Mayhew is an experienced audiologist with over 27 years of expertise in hearing health. She began her career at Torbay Hospital in 1997 and has worked alongside Maggie since 2019, delivering exceptional care in private practice.
Kathy specialises in rehabilitation and ear wax removal, holding full AHCS (The Academy for Healthcare Science) registration and advanced training in microsuction techniques. She is dedicated to helping patients restore their hearing clarity with professional, evidence-based treatments.

Meet Ella Clark – Hearing Aid Dispenser
Ella Clark is M C Hearings newest member and qualified in 2025 with a distinction in her FdSc in Audiology as a Hearing Aid Dispenser, after completing her apprenticeship with Maggie. With a wide range of knowledge on the latest hearing aid technology from a range of manufacturers, Ella is an excellent addition to the team. In addition to being HCPC registered, she also has her qualifications to perform Microsuction so can assist patients in several ways, including ear wax removal, custom swim or noise earplugs and fitting of hearing aids.
